THE STREET REACH BIG EVENT - WEEKE FIELDS

A Live Music, Dance and Workshop Event
Saturday 5th April '08, Dean Park, Weeke, Winchesteer from 1pm - 10pm

This was a highly successful event, with approximately 1500 people attending, many of whom participated in workshops. Youth Workers are currently working with Young People on ideas for the next one.

• The Winchester Myplace Project;
• a Youth Music Cafe, which Streetreach are currently negotiating with a team of young people and Winchester City Council;
• a Mobile Artspace, which will host workshops for Young People with arts professionals;
• The Edge Project, a meeting for Young People interested in event management, at The Winchester Discovery Centre, February 10th, 3.30pm;
• football matches at Henry Beaufort playing fields with Young People, PCSOs and Streetreach Youth Workers, on the last Saturday of the month, 1.30pm—3.30pm.
